Canada Winter Games (Female)

The HNSOP is proud to announce that two of our female officials have been selected to the officiating staff for the 2019 Canada Winter Games in Red Deer, Alberta.  The female tournament takes place from February 24th-March 2nd. 
 

Congratulations go to Chelsea Thibeau (referee) and Sophie Thomson (linesman).  Chelsea is originally from PEI and now lives in Bedford, NS. She is a Level 4 official who works as a referee in the AUS and Female Midget AAA leagues. Sophie is from Halifax and just completed her Level 4 upgrade.  She works as a linesman at the AUS and NS Major Midget Hockey League.

Congratulations again to Chelsea and Sophie on this once-in-a-lifetime assignment.
