Canada-Russia Series

Within the operations of the Canadian Hockey League (CHL), two of the six games of the CIBC CANADA-RUSSIA SERIES will be played on QMJHL territory.

For this event, a team made up from the best Russian players will challenge a QMJHL All-Star team selected amongst players under 20 years old. This six-game series, which also involves the OHL and the WHL, aims at identifying the best CHL players who will participate in the Junior Team Canada.

Specifically for the QMJHL games, QMJHL officials will be assigned. We congratulate two HNS officials who have selected to work game #1 of this series.

Josh Deyoung (Antigonish) has been selected as a referee and Sean Hagen (Cole Harbour) has been selected as a linesman. The game is tonight (Monday, November 4th) at 8:00pm and will be televised on Sportsnet One.
